Jane Thomas, a Swimming Teacher at Moira House Girls School, was recently awarded the Top Teacher Award at the prestigious Sovereign FM awards held at the Grand Hotel in Eastbourne. The award was presented to Jane in recognition of her swimming dedication to Eastbourne Swimming Club, and she was extremely delighted to receive it.
Jane is Head Teacher at Eastbourne Swimming Club and is a senior member of the Swim School team at Moira House Swim School, teaching both children and adults. Her wealth of knowledge and experience of swimming teaching is considerable, so when Ian Woodward, a fellow Eastbourne Swimming Club Swimming Teacher nominated her, the Club was absolutely delighted.
Claire Bryant, Head of Swimming at Moira House Girls School, who also attended the awards evening, commented that Jane was a very worthy recipient of the award, and that the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
